What I can help with

These are the reasons most people come to the practice. If yours isn’t here, tell me about it on the first call.

  • Anxiety and stress

When your head won’t switch off, your body won’t rest and everything takes more effort than usual.

  • Settling in another country

Starting from zero far from home: language, work, loneliness and the feeling of not belonging anywhere.

  • Couples

Arguments that keep coming back, long silences, big decisions. A space to talk without shouting.

  • Grief

Losing someone or something important, even from a distance and even if you couldn’t say goodbye.

  • Self-esteem

Expecting too much of yourself, comparing yourself with others, saying yes to everything. Learning to treat yourself more fairly.

  • Life changes

Motherhood, separation, retirement, a new job: when life starts a new chapter.

The process

How I work

  1. First call, 15 minutes free

You tell me what brings you here and I tell you how I work. No commitment.

  2. First session

Fifty minutes to understand your situation and what you expect from therapy.

  3. Plan

We agree goals and how often to meet. It can be adjusted along the way.

  4. Follow-up

We review what changes and what doesn’t. We finish when you feel ready, not before.

Who I am

About me

I’m Oksana. I was born in Ukraine and I’ve lived in Valencia for ten years. I started here working with people who had just arrived and didn’t know who to ask for help. Today I see people from here and from there, in four languages.

I don’t believe in quick formulas. I believe in listening calmly, asking useful questions and keeping to your pace.

Training

  • Degree in Psychology
  • Master’s in General Health Psychology
  • Training in couples therapy and grief
You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. Just come.

Common questions

Common questions

How long does a session last?

An individual session lasts 50 minutes and a couples session 75. The 15-minute first call is free and without obligation.

How often do we meet?

At the start, once a week. When things calm down, every two weeks. We agree it in the plan and it can change.

Is online therapy just as effective?

For most concerns, yes. What matters most is trust and a quiet place to talk. If in some case I think it’s better for us to meet in person, I’ll tell you.

Is it confidential?

Yes. What you tell me is protected by professional secrecy and I don’t share it with anyone without your permission. The only exceptions are those set by law, for example a serious risk to you or to someone else.

What if I have to cancel?

Let me know 24 hours in advance and we’ll move the appointment at no cost. If you let me know later, the session is charged.
